PMTS owns and operates Offshore Vessels which are tailor made for total logistics support, in the Indian Offshore.

Ship Building:
PMTS, knowing the pulse of the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry, decided to build ships which are specific to need of this Industry. They have already built, commissioned many Offshore Vessels at its Shipyard in Goa.
To give more teeth to ship building, the company is already developing a state of the art elaborate shipyard in the outskirts of Mumbai. With the commissioning of this shipyard, undoubtedly PMTS would be the fore runner to bag orders for construction of Offshore Vessels, in this part of the world.
Lighterage Operations:
India has many Coal based power plants, for which a large quantity of coal is being imported from Indonesia, Australia or South Africa. Industrial giant Tata Power Corporation is one of such importers , bringing in 4.5 Million Ton annually, to Mumbai. The Lighterage Operations of the entire quantity, open sea / within the harbor, are being undertaken by PMTS. In addition, the coal imported by State Electricity Board of Maharashtra, is also being handled by PMTS.
PMTS owns and operates adequate number of suitable barges for this purpose. In nutshell, as far as handling of Coal in/off Mumbai is concerned, PMTS has the monopoly.
From the foregoing, one may reveal , the sectors chosen by PMTS are very sensible and quite futuristic. It is pertinent to mention that, PMTS as a stand alone company, managed to perform so well in the above segments. This company has immense knowledge on all the activities, additionally, they have excellent relations with the authorities related to Maritime Operations.
